It was just yesterday that the official announcement of the Atom-based MSI Wind's pricing prompted us to wonder where ASUS's promised Atom Eee 900 was, and would you look at that -- here's the Eee 901, looking radiant in white. Of course, the major changes are internal, so the exterior looks pretty much the same -- apart from some extra buttons and the relocation of the power jack -- but it's good to know this thing is inching closer to release. Now if we could just get some benchmarks and pricing info, we'd be all set. Check the read link for tons more pics.

Should be interesting to see what the actual specs are. I could use a disposable machine such as this out in the field since my G4 headed south, Im not about to take my macbook pro out there, so I'm doomed to pen and paper.

You think that s funny, you should see me w/ this mac, I wont even touch it, It has only been moved twice in the several months I've had it, the screen has been moved just as many times. I have remote KB and mouse, and a KB cover, it sits on a lian li aluminum cooler, thats powered by a 7 port usb hub.

Something such as this ASUS should do me fine out there. As long as the price is right.
