Oh well the info I had was out of date after all... I guess Intel is good again xD Is it cheaper too? Not like I  need a new comp, but it'd be good to know.

They are not cheaper then AMD because AMD has had to drop there prices quite a bit just so people will buy there stuff. But Intel processors are not very expensive either. A quad core now costs like $270 bucks.

Yah the quad 6600 is right in that price range. Plus you can get some great overclocks on them

Desktop Intel is good AMD is trying hard

 I used to be all the way AMD, but they have slipped into the abyss after the release of the core 2 duo.   Maybe next time AMD.
